Accessible Study spaces on Streatham

We’re highlighting some of your favourite places to study on Streatham with some additional info on accessibility for you. So, if you’re looking for quieter spaces, or somewhere with a microwave, take a look at our suggestions. Which is your go-to?

The Forum

First up is the library, with 3 floors of study space, bookable spaces and each floor has designated noise levels. There are computers too if you don’t want to bring your laptop to campus.

Also in the Forum, you’ve got the Career and Study Zone. This can get noisy especially during lunchtime. However, you might spot your favourite feline bestie, Napoleon who is also a regular to the sofas!

Below the Great Hall you can find the Sanctuary, a great group study space.

Devonshire House

Next up our personal favourite, Devonshire House! There are2 floors of space here but it’s more of a group workspace with bigger tables. You can also find microwaves, hot water and free health products. During exam season we’ll have some free refreshments for you in this space too 🫶

The Greenhouse in Devonshire house is also available as a quieter workspace with adjustable lighting (and beanbags!).

Upstairs in Devonshire House is the Loft, providing a quieter space, with both computers and printers available.

Queens

Queens has got 2 study spaces available:

Queens Café has a microwave, and both individual and groupwork spaces (and Camper Coffee too!)

You can also try the Language Library on the second floor (lift access via the main lift next to the reception desk). This space is a designated quiet space with both printers and computers.

Amory

At the bottom of Forum Hill, you can find microwaves, bookable rooms, printers and computers, and a dedicated quiet room too!

XFi

Next to the Business School, the XFi building is another option for you, meaning you don’t have to walk up Forum Hill! You can find microwaves here, computers and group study spaces.

Building:One

In the Business School, you’ve got more options for group and individual study, and of course La Touche café!

Washington Singer

Arguably one of the more impressive looking buildings on campus, Washington Singer is located off Prince of Wales Road, at the bottom of Queens Drive. Here you can find study space with microwaves and a printer.
