We’re here to help over 30,000 students at the University of Exeter love their time at University. As an independent charity, we’re all about championing students’ voices and making a real difference to their experience, whether that’s through events, support, societies, or campaigning for change.

Student Staff Roles

At the Guild, student staff don’t just support what we do, they shape it. From reception staff, to content creators, data crunchers, EDI consultants and student reps, we employ over 70 students in a whole range of roles and teams.

Give it a Go Event Organiser

We’re looking for students who are excited to lead on the design and delivery of inclusive, engaging events that help others Love Exeter! This role involves planning, budgeting, risk management, and creative thinking. You’ll work closely with the Campus Engagement Team and Guild Event Assistants to shape the Give it a Go programme. Apply by 20 October.

Student Administrator

Join the Guild as an Administrator and help our Leadership & Governance Team run smoothly. We’re after someone organised, proactive, and detail loving. A natural planner who enjoys making things happen behind the scenes. You’ll provide vital admin support to our staff and trustees, helping keep everything on track. Apply by 17:00 on 2 November.

St Luke's Event Organiser

We’re looking for someone to help build a strong sense of community at St Luke’s. As Event Organiser, you’ll plan and deliver events that reflect the unique vibe of the campus, from socials and workshops to community-led activities. You’ll be a key part of creating a welcoming, connected experience for students based at St Luke’s. Apply by 9:00 on 27 October.

Postgraduate Events Organiser

Love planning events and bringing people together? This role supports our Postgraduate events and activities – from our Give it a Go programme to one-off socials, helping postgrad students meet others, try new things and feel at home in Exeter. You’ll be hands-on at events and help shape a fun, inclusive programme that celebrates our diverse PG community. Apply by 09:00 on 27 October.
