Support over the Winter Break

This can be a difficult time of year for many reasons, especially if you are worrying about being alone, balancing having time for a break and  also revising, or spending extended time with family members. StudentMinds provides tailored support and information to help you, and you can also access University Wellbeing Services, Samaritans and Shout if you need someone to talk to.

Estate Patrol

The Estate Patrol Control Room is staffed 24/7 - this includes the Winter Break closure period. Estate Patrol Officers will be available to provide advice, direction and attend incidents as required. The non-emergency telephone line is 01392 723999.

In cases of emergency, individuals should contact the emergency services on 999 and then contact the Estate Patrol through their emergency line on 01392 722222. Don’t forget to use the Safe Zone app when on campus to connect you to Estate Patrol when you need them.
